We went to an ancient Roman villa a few weekends ago. The floors were all mosaics. It was pretty interesting, but we arrived the same time a tour bus of senior citizens arrived, so it was a bit slow going for awhile. Hehe! The drive to get there was about two hours, because our GPS somehow changed from the "faster route" option to the "scenic route" option. We were in the middle of nowhere for awhile!
Here are some pictures.
I am *so* impressed. ;)
Token is *such* a good tour guide. Here he is explaining the variety of the stones used in the mosaic floor. Teeheee! :p (I love you, Token!)
